Resources are a key element of engagement by Users in the Platform.

All Resource content is shown with the title, the description, and depending on the Resource format, can either be viewed or downloaded to the User's device.

In addition, the 'Featured Resource' view can be used as an eSatchel or virtual delegate bag.

Resources can support a  wide variety of content types, such as;

  • PDF
  • Images
  • MS Office Documents
  • Video Content
  • Audio Content

Resources can be attached to a range of items/functions within the Joyn Platform including;

  • Exhibitors
  • Sponsors
  • Talks
  • Sessions
  • Speakers
  • Live Streams

Exhibitors/Sponsors/Speakers/Moderators have the ability to upload and manage their own Resource content, that can be made visible to Users.

Reporting on Resources

  • Each time a Resource is viewed or downloaded, the content data is tracked and can be accessed  in a wide range of reports.
  • Resource views/downloads can also contribute to the CPD point calculation for each User.
